Job Description

This is a director level role in our business which will lead the Supply Chain operations for the Teva Runcorn Site and products, including planning, supply chain management, warehouse, distribution & customer service. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team responsible, you will role model the leadership and development of your own department and contribute to the wider Site. You will also work extensively with Global colleagues and will require strong communication skills and a willingness to travel as required.


Key Responsibilities:


• The realisation of the sales & operational planning (S&OP) process for the site working closely with the other members of the Site Leadership Team to meet business targets of Service, Competitiveness, Quality, Safety and People.
• Provide effective management & leadership to the supply chain & logistics team to develop their potential and to ensure improvements in compliance, safety and site operational efficiency.
• Through effective supply chain management you will both drive improvements in site schedule adherence, overall customer service and continually optimise the inventories of components and products throughout Teva’s supply chain.
• Lead the Planning processes, primarily on a rolling annual basis driven by budget and forecast.
• Develop strong relationships with the Teva Global Supply Chain, Operations and Commercial teams and contribute to the overall Supply Chain strategy development.
• Develop effective relationships with the Teva Operational Excellence Team to both contribute to and lead the implementation of “Best Practice”.
• Support & leverage the Teva group Procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

Applicants should have the following experience / qualifications:

 

• Educated to a minimum BSc degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• Proven operational experience in Supply Chain management in a Pharmaceutical environment, covering warehouse, distribution and manufacturing.
• Significant demonstrable experience of leading a supply chain team within a regulated disciplined but 'lean' environment.
• Previous experience of managing within a cGMP environment.
• Previous Sterile Operational experience would be highly advantageous.
• Experience of leading Lean initiatives.
• Knowledge and or experience of SAP and a working knowledge of Logistics in an ISO 9000 company, along with the capacity to apply this knowledge in a pharmaceutical environment would be highly beneficial.


The experience gained in one of our Site Leadership roles is an ideal springboard to larger international roles across our Teva. To achieve this progression you must be internationally mobile. This position is based in Runcorn, Cheshire, but your next role could be in one of our many locations around the world.
