Job Description

The HR Business Partner, Teva Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (TAPI), Medis, and Biologics Operations will provide HR support for the TAPI, Medis and Biologics organizations.  The HRBP coaches the leader and his/her leadership team and provides expertise in the development of the organizational talent and diversity strategy, talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and escalated employee relations issues.  

  • Develop and implement an integrated people strategy for the business units including organizational design, leadership and talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, development and retention.  Anticipate the future needs of the organization and areas of potential disruption.
  • Partner closely with the business leadership team, Regional HR Directors and Country HR leaders to define and develop the next generation of technical and leadership capabilities while ensuring the availability of a robust talent pipeline.
  • Build and maintain progressive human resources practices possessing the business insight necessary to influence the company’s performance and business objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish a tone for performance and continuous improvement within the Business Units.  Ensures HR programs are aligned to leverage diversity, motivate employee engagement and reward performance.
  • Create and/or drive the talent and diversity strategy for the assigned organizations.
  • Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client groups. Lead client restructuring activities when necessary. Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.
  • Coach leaders and members of leadership teams to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes.
  • Partner with the learning & development organization on learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
  • Partner with talent acquisition organization on activities in support of the organization’s workforce plan and talent strategy.
  • Provide leadership and project management to critical HR initiatives across the Quality and Procurement organizations as needed.
  • Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client’s business strategy.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a HR business partner role within a progressive HR environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven work experience as a HR business partner with a commercial mindset across multiple cultures
  • Trusted partner, facilitator with excellent people skills and the ability to influence in a positive manner
  • Analytical, problem solving skills and experience having managed multiple work priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experienced of successful organizational change programs
  • Team orientated and ability to work successfully in partnership with HR COE’s to ensure programs and processes delivered successfully
  • High level of drive, resilient and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Flexible, willing to travel and work with different business groups across Teva
