Job Description

This position will be responsible to  support the company’s IT strategy in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, Trade Management, GL, Finance, Projects, HR & other business areas. The individual will be responsible for providing leadership to assist with the design, development, implementation, support, and business process improvement and integration of other interfacing software solutions such as Manhattan, Track wise, LIMS, ADP, SAP, JDE & many other transactional systems interfacing with Oracle ERP applications. The individual will be responsible for working cross-functionally with other departments within the organization to deliver and support solutions in a complex business environment. This position will be managing the vendor and responsible for the deliverables provided by them in quality and on time.

The individual will be responsible for supporting existing packaging, manufacturing, and distribution sites within North America on the current oracle platform, and be responsible for managing and deploying ad hoc solutions for maintain business continuity.

In the role, the individual will be responsible for overall operations of Support management, and will provide the needed support to broad, cross-functional, and cross regional leadership initiatives. The individual must be comfortable with interacting and communicating with all levels of management within the organization.

Lead and Manage the vendor to design, develop, implement and support the company’s business processes and strategies in ERP and other interfacing  systems, tightly integrated with business processes and systems supporting Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, Trade Management, GL, Finance, Projects, HR & other business areas.

The individual will coordinate the efforts to ensure optimized business processes and system solutions are maintained throughout the Americas region between manufacturing and packaging sites, supply chain and logistics, quality operations and business owners and subject matter experts.

 

Qualifications

Education Required        Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience Required:

  • 10 years’ experience in leading the design and delivery, support of applications solutions supporting operations, manufacturing, logistics, and Procurement, Finance and/or supply chain functions required.  Pharmaceutical or related industry a plus. Demonstrated success in management and project execution with involvement in multiple major projects or a sustained record of success delivering complex IT services to a diverse clientele
  • Experience in integrating ERP manufacturing solutions with MES (Manufacturing Execution System), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) , EDMS (electronic document management system), Quality Trackwise, Quality LIMS (Laboratory information management system), Warehouse management system and other peripherals in the manufacturing environment

Oracle and/or SAP process manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry preferred

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:        

  • ERP end-to-end integrated Manufacturing processes knowledge (Oracle and/or SAP preferred)
  • Specific knowledge in integrating ERP manufacturing processes with OEE and MES solutions
  • Knowledge in the functional areas that support manufacturing functions, including: master data management, inventory management, supply chain planning, cost management and shipping/logistics

Company/Industry Related Knowledge:

  • Regulatory environment for pharmaceutical companies
  • Knowledge and experience in developing IT solutions in a validated environment
  • End to End pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain understanding

Education Preferred      

  • Advanced Degree
  • Hands-on experience in ERP manufacturing supporting the pharmaceutical processes
  • Experience in integrating ERP manufacturing solutions with MES (Manufacturing Execution System), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) , EDMS (electronic document management system), Quality Trackwise, Quality LIMS (Laboratory information management system), Warehouse management system and other peripherals in the manufacturing environment
