Job Description

Responsible for supporting “Hire to Retire” processes and help improve the employee experience for the Finance department in North America. The person in this position will support the implementation of HR strategies and objectives through people management expertise. 


  • Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs in hire to retire processes. 
  • Represents the needs of the business back to the HR department.
  • Serves as an interpreter and advocate for HR policies, processes and programs.
  • Establishes partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and staff that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
  • Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s plans, culture and objectives.
  • Identifies potential employee relations issues and offer guidance.
  • Guides leaders in the processes concerning promotions, compensation adjustments, transfers, employee relations, terminations, recruitment and staffing.
  • Offers advice, counsel, and guidance to improve work performance and assist in training and development of needs assessment and the support and implementation of EEO / Inclusion & Diversity objectives.
  • Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned


Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or HR Manager Experience


  • Strong employee relations experience
  • Talent management and development experience
  • Change Management and organizational development
  • Pharmaceutical HR experience preferred
  • Quantitative and analytical skills are a plus

Problem Solving:

  • Proactively works on problems of a simple to moderate scope.
  • Seeks out all resources when selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.
  • Acts independently and proactively to recommend and administer methods and procedures for problem resolution.


  • Business travel primarily domestic might be required up to 20% of the time



  • Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment
  • Using fingers to perform activities such as picking, pinching or typing

Visual Acuity:

  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data and extensive reading. 


  • Work will be conducted mainly in an office environment
