The opportunity

The IT Management Operations (ITMO) is the central organization that provides a comprehensive cross-IT perspective to enhance decision-making, ensure strategic alignment, and deliver quality and excellence across Global IT. ITMO plays a crucial role in strategic planning and execution, ensuring that IT initiatives align with business priorities and support overall organizational goals. Additionally, ITMO facilitates effective communication across IT and with stakeholders to ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment.

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Teva’s IT communications. This role involves developing, managing, and executing communication strategies to support IT initiatives and objectives. The ideal candidate will enhance the visibility and understanding of IT contributions, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely information dissemination across the organization

How you’ll spend your day

  • IT Communications: Facilitate effective communication within the IT department and across the organization. Proactively lead IT communications initiatives by developing and implementing strategies to enhance engagement and transparency.
  • Strategic Communication Plans: Develop, Build and execute comprehensive communication plans to support the execution of IT strategy, ensuring alignment and engagement among all stakeholders. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • CIO Communications: Develop and implement innovative and engaging methods for employees to interact with and hear from the IT CIO, fostering a two-way dialogue.
  • Internal IT Events: Plan and coordinate internal IT events, including webcasts, town halls, and other engagement activities to foster a collaborative IT culture.
  • Organizational Announcements: Prepare and disseminate organizational announcements, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Steering Committee and Board Meetings: Support the preparation for steering committee meetings, board meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Leadership Presentations: Prepare high-quality presentations for IT leadership, supporting the CIO and other senior leaders in delivering key messages.
  • Corporate Collaboration: Work in collaboration with Corporate Affairs, ensuring alignment with corporate communication policies and effective deployment of internal campaigns. Align with Corporate Affairs on external communication to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that aligns with the company's mission and strategy.
  • Information Synthesis: Facilitate, Collect and synthesize information from various IT groups to support communication efforts and project updates.
  • Resource Library: Build and maintain a comprehensive library of communication materials, templates, and resources for use across the IT department.
  • Team Management: Manage a small team of communications professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high-quality outputs and professional growth.

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT communications, or a related area.
  • Proven experience in preparing leadership presentations.
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills, with the ability to collect and synthesize information from diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of communications professionals.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
