We are offering an interesting opportunities for a Talented Expert to step into the role of Senior HR Manager and join our Office in Hafnarfjordur to support in leading the HR activities and services (Hire-retire) and execution of people processes and business initiated HR plans within the Iceland.

 

For Iceland:

  • Supporting employee lifecycle “hire to retire” in partnership with management and HR; aligning HR processes and policies across the countries and to TEVA´s European working model. Reviewing, changing and implementing as required administrative HR policies, procedures and programs to support and strengthen HR activities, including: hire, rehire, on-boarding, transfer, promotion, demotion, training and development, performance management, talent management, leave of absence and separation.
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies that will support the corporate development strategy and respond proactively to close any skill gaps that may exist.
  • Managing the Icelandic payroll with local payroll provider for all TEVA Iceland employees
  • Working with and understanding all Teva affiliates’ compensation strategy, systems and standards. Translating these to local country perspective and apply to add value to the business.
  • Being responsible for reporting as required internally and externally (headcount, safety, salary statistics etc.).
  • Managing and monitoring HR budget, FTE’s and Cost of Labor and benefits within Iceland.
  • Driving employee engagement and ensure actions are initiated and completed in relation to the result of the EE survey in order to deliver an organization consisting of highly engaged & motivated employees at all levels and also ensuring TEVA is seen as an employer of choice in the region.
  • Partnering with Country management, to execute the HR plan of Teva Iceland.
  • Providing support and coaching to line managers regarding all people processes and organizational Development and effectiveness.
  • Managing the recruitment process together with the central CoE for site based positions.
  • Coordinating and facilitating the performance and talent management processes for Iceland.
  • Supporting delivery of the training programs on local level.
  • Consulting on local benefit programs (e.g. health, disability, pension, time off) where applicable
  • Support implementation of reorganization processes within Teva Iceland including separation and redundancy negotiation when applicable
  • Being committed to ensuring a positive work environment with a focus on equal opportunities and according to the Teva values.
  • Taking care of general admin work, e.g. related to payroll data, employment contracts, HR systems etc.

 

Your profile:

 

  • HBO or University degree in Human Resources /Labor Law or other applicable discipline.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience within HR area, preferably in international organizations.
  • Experience in change management activities.
  • Technical & Generalist knowledge of National Labour Law, Hire- retire processes and policies, Compensation & Benefits.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in Icelandic and English language is required.
  • Experience in global (matrix) organization preferred.
  • Execution focus, project management skills.
  • Knowledge of HRM systems.
  • Collaborative strong Business Partner with influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, locally and internationally.
  • Open-minded and trustful person.
  • Being hands-on and focus on execution and delivery.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing working environment.
