Position Summary

Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain function and involve managing distributors, with key focus on demand management, inventory control, logistics arrangement for shipments to distributors and other commercial supply management activities

Job Description

    • Be a key contact point for any issues relating to Vietnam shipments to distributors.
    • Follow up with sites and logistics team for shipment arrangement as per monthly replenishment plans aligned with importers.
    • Get updated shipment schedule regularly. Ensure timely escalation in order to get support for vessel booking/flight booking for urgent shipments, where necessary.
    • Send shipping instructions and requests to relevant stakeholders to provide clean  shipping documents.
    • Work with importers to check and confirm shipping documents before shipment departure.
    • Collect original shipping documents from sites and provide original documents to importers before shipment arrival.
    • Supervise importers to conduct customs clearance in the shortest possible lead time to avoid extra demurrage charge/storage charge at port/airport.
    • Coordinate with importers and related sites to address any challenge, query from customs authority in doing customs clearance.
    • Maintain and update the OTIF Report, shipment tracking report
    • Work with distributors towards controlling inventory nationwide and at each distribution warehouse to ensure the availability of the inventory within the agreed target inventory
    • Other logistics operations include:
      • Monitoring the process of destruction of goods (if applicable) with distributors and obtaining destruction report
      • Inventory Reporting
      • Demand management
      • Ensuring accuracy of reporting


  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in Logistics in an MNC
  • Wide knowledge of import/export/logistics/customer service
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus
  • Experience in working with international distributors is a plus
  • Good communication skills in English (speaking, writing)
  • Well-versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
