Job Description

As Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) you will be responsible for engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) through appropriate high level scientific exchange of information, education, publications, evidence generation and other such non-promotional medical affairs activities in a fair and non-promotional manner, developing  long-term partnership with medical community for benefit of patients.

  • Provide clinical and medical-scientific information, responding to  HCP requests and delivering credible and unbiased clinical/scientific support;
  • Represent company medical department in the relevant territory, participating to local, regional, national and international congress and providing post-congress summaries and critical insights to internal colleagues in a timely manner;
  • Engage with external stakeholders (KOLs, healthcare authorities, patients associations, etc.) leveraging a variety of channels -  including digital - in line with the internal policy to maximize customer experience;
  • Support the sponsored studies and proposed Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS);
  • Educate, support and update sales force on relevant medical scientific information;

Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine, Medical /Pharmaceutical Biotecnology or a similar Healthcare degree;
  • Ideally 1-3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; clinical experience within relevant therapy area preferred;
  • Strong scientific approach and background that allows to quickly understand the disease area and its competitive landscape along with the local healthcare system;
  • Understanding of the clinical development process and statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to work effectively with and leverage modern technology;
  • Collaboration and influencing.
