Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Head of Digital Commercial at Teva. This role will report to the EVP Commercial Europe Direct / EVP US & EVP International Markets Indirect. This position will drive improved efficiencies and effectiveness through digitalization of commercial efforts globally translating into a sustainable competitive advantage for Teva.

As P&L accountability is maintained at a commercial general management level, the Global Head of Digital Commercial will need to develop strong alliances with the commercial leadership teams and other relevant internal & external stakeholders to ensure that all new digital approaches are built in line with the overall business strategies / objectives and digital trends. Moreover the position will ensure that Teva’s overall digital capabilities and mindset are elevated (including beyond the commercial organization).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & communicate Teva’s global digital commercial vision, strategy, and operating model aligned with the overall company strategy as well as individual regional/brand needs
  • Act as strategic advisor to commercial, medical, and other relevant leadership teams on all topics related to digitalization
  • Execute large-scale digital implementation programs across brands & geographies which translate into:
  • Improved customer experiences resulting in positive commercial performance (NPS & Market Share)
  • Double-digit million (USD) operational efficiencies through digitalization efforts or centralized provision of omnichannel capabilities
  • Continual experimentation and scaled implementation of opportunities for measurable competitive advantage through digitalization, data, and analytics
  • A harmonized commercial technology landscape
  • Develop organizational capabilities in digital, data science, analytics, & omnichannel across Teva
  • Development and management of centralized digital/omnichannel services for utilization by local markets
  • Direct management of Digital Commercial Organization (approx. 50FTE) / operational budgets and functional management of market digital-leads
  • Define and own the governance model & be the unified commercial voice into Teva’s IT leadership (CIO) and commercial technology CAPEX roadmap
  • Provide thought leadership on trends and future digital opportunities to broader organization (including outside of commercial)
  • Act as a change-agent to enable a more ‘digital mindset’ within the organization (beyond commercial)

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in digital commercialization, technology management, or  change management (healthcare or related sector preferred)
  • Deep understanding of digital technology trends, concepts, and best practices
  • Multi-year experience in people management (including leading leaders)
  • Strong communication & skills in English
  • Additional European languages preferred
